The Emmental Panorama Trail takes you on a six-day hiking adventure across diverse landscapes, from lush meadows to dense forests, with panoramic vistas of the Bernese Alps and Jura Mountains unfolding at every turn.
The Alpine Panorama Trail is one of Switzerland's most iconic long-distance hiking routes, covering nearly 500 kilometers.
Known for its scenic beauty, our segment of the trail perfectly encapsulates Switzerland’s varied topography and uncovers hidden gems along the way.
As you follow this spectacular trail through the Emmental Valley, you’ll traverse stages 13 leading you through the quiet beauty of rural Switzerland.
This tour offers something for hikers of all experience levels. The first ascent from Wolhusen to Napf is a highlight, guiding you through Werthenstein’s historic pilgrimage site and up to Napf Mountain, where you’ll enjoy a 360-degree view of Switzerland’s diverse geography – from the pastoral Mittelland to the towering peaks of the Jungfrau region.
In addition to the stunning landscapes, the trail passes through charming villages like Menzberg and Lüderenalp, where time seems to slow down. These villages offer a glimpse into traditional Swiss life, with rustic farmhouses and age-old customs preserved in the region’s everyday rhythm.
To ensure peace of mind throughout your journey, we take care of all the logistics, from booking your accommodations to providing detailed digital guidebooks, GPS routes and offering customer support during your hike.
All you need to focus on is enjoying the charm and beauty of the Emmental!
